Community Outreach

Itsy Bitsy Dental supports the communities it serves and assists those in need. At Itsy Bitsy Dental, one of the best parts of our job is to teach children about their teeth and encourage them to develop good oral hygiene habits. We offer a fun dental education program for Schools, Daycares and Public Libraries in and around Bloomfield, Glen Ridge and Montclair for children ages 3 and up. Our Healthy Smiles program is a public health initiative and is provided free of charge. Call the office to request our Healthy Smiles presentation in your facility.

Here are some of the activities we have been actively involved as part of our community outreach initiative.

  • Helping Children Through Give Kids A Smile – The American Dental Association (ADA) began the Give Kids A Smile program in 2003 as a way for dentists to join with others in the community to provide free dental services to children without a dental home. We, here at Itsy Bitsy Dental, volunteered to provide screenings, treatments and education to children free of cost on February 6, 2015 and had a blast doing that.

  • Our Lady Of Sorrows School, South Orange – Itsy Bitsy Dental visited Our Lady Of Sorrows School in South Orange on February 5, 2015 to showcase the importance of maintaining healthy teeth and preventive dental care.

  • Providing Ideas for a Healthy Community – Itsy Bitsy Dental is honored to be one of the key businesses to be invited to participate in SWOT workshop held by Bloomfield Center Alliance, Inc (BCA). There were a lot of great ideas shared and BCA will be working to incorporate those ideas into a work-plan and goals for Bloomfield for 2015. FYI – Bloomfield Center App is available for free. It is a hand-held directory of Bloomfield Center businesses and also includes parking information. It lists upcoming events and advertises daily deals and more!
